‘Encounters’ is an exhibition featuringnew works from award-winning international artist Mick O’Dea, who is currently President of the Royal Hibernian Academy, curated by his daughter Sarah O’Dea. Originally from Ennis, County Clare, Mick’s work is held in many public collections including the National Gallery of Ireland, the National Self Portrait Collection, Trinity College Dublin and the RHA. He has taught at the National College of Art and Design; Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology; the National Gallery; Portlaoise Prison and the RHA.

Mick lives part of the year in Portacloy, North Mayo.
