Tramp Press was launched by Sarah Davis-Goff and Lisa Coen in 2014 with the aim of finding, nurturing and publishing exceptional literary talent. To date, they have published critically acclaimed authors including Thomas Morris, Sara Baume, Joanna Walsh, and Mike McCormack. In 2015 Tramp Press won the David Manley Emerging Entrepreneur Award for the arts category, and they have found critical acclaim in the TLS, Guardian, Literary Review, Irish Times and more.
Ian Maleney is a writer based in Dublin. Born and raised in Co. Offaly, he works as a freelance arts journalist, primarily for the Irish Times, and as the online editor at the Stinging Fly. His essays have been published by Winter Papers, gorse, and the Dublin Review. He is the founder of Fallow Media, an interdisciplinary publication for music, photography, and long-form writing on the internet. Minor Monuments is his debut.
Arja Kajermo has contributed cartoons to the feminist publisher Attic Press and occasionally to the Sunday Press, The Irish Times, Image magazine, Magill and others.Her strip ‘Dublin Four’ ran in the Sunday Tribune. She now draws the strip ‘Tuula’ in the Sunday edition of a Swedish daily newspaper. In 2014 she was shortlisted for the prestigious Davy Byrnes Award for her short story ‘The Iron Age’, upon which this novel is based. Arja lives in Dublin.
